About Camp Westwind

Camp Westwind is a historic nonprofit camp (founded 1936) situated on 529 acres within the Cascade Head UNESCO Biosphere Reserve on the Oregon Coast. Where old-growth forests meet pristine beaches at the Salmon River estuary, this is one of the most spectacular camp settings in the Pacific Northwest. The camp's mission centers on conservation and environmental stewardship. Youth camps for grades 2-8 run 3-6 days, with additional teen and family camp options. Over 100,000 campers have attended since the camp's founding.
