About Grace Art Camp

Grace Art Camp, run by the Grace Institute, has been Portland's premier culturally-focused arts camp since 1997. Each summer features a different world culture as its theme, with art projects, music, dance, and storytelling that help kids explore and appreciate global artistic traditions. The program is led by professional artists who guide children through studios including visual arts, fused glass, ceramics, fiber arts, photography, and printmaking. The cultural focus provides context and meaning for the art-making, helping kids understand how creativity expresses itself across human experience.
