About Independent Publishing Resource Center
The Independent Publishing Resource Center (IPRC) is quintessentially Portland—founded in 1998, this nonprofit provides access to tools for creating zines, comics, books, and prints. Their Youth Sunday program helps young people ages 8-18 create their own print media. IPRC houses one of the nation's largest zine collections (9,000+ catalogued zines), providing inspiration and context for young makers. This is the place for kids who want to create their own publications, comics, or zines.
